Good news for Documentary Photography is the announcement that one hundred of Lewis W. Hine's photographs of immigration have been deposited as a permanent record in the library of the Russell Sage Foundation, 130 E. 22 Street. New York City. Here is the nucleus for a photographic archive which can go far, by adding more photographs of a documentary character, both by Hine and by present-day documentary photographers.  >>more...>>
