Student Activism in the 1930s
The following selection of autobiographical essays were written by students attending the 1935 Student League for Industrial Democracy Summer Leadership Institute and can be found in the Joseph P. Lash Papers at the Franklin D. Roosevelt Libary in Hyde Park, NY. Joseph Lash, a former leader in the American Student Union, is perhaps best know for his Eleanor Roosevelt biographies.
