The George Washington Bridge, completed in 1931, connects New York and New Jersey. However, the Public Works Administration, which Congress established in 1933, was not involved in its construction. There is an FDR connection, though: Governor Franklin D. Roosevelt dedicated the bridge on October 24, 1931.
