By Joseph Starobin

The Magpie, May 1929, p 27.

I had a silver tapestry
Woven in gold and blue;
Tender and soft was the wondrous cloth;
Soft as a love that is new.

And the mystic songs of amber and gold,
And a love in the threads
Were lost in the shreds
When the tapestry tore in two . . .
