Project Information


This project grew out of the Spring, 2001 Teachers College Internship in Technology and Education. Support was provided by the Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt Institute, the Institute for Learning Technologies and the New Deal Network. Eileen O'Farrell, a Teachers College graduate student and former DeWitt Clinton High School teacher, worked with students and staff and faculty members at DeWitt Clinton. Project Director, New Deal Network project director, provided project supervision and developed the website.

Our thanks to the faculty and staff at DeWitt Clinton High School, especially Arnie Mansdorf, Social Studies Teacher; Jack Shapiro, Head Librarian; Mr. Kelly, Associate Librarian; Marty Garry, Director of Alumni Relations; and Myra Luftman, Assistant Principal for Social Studies.

The students who participated in this project were Dane Antoine, Henry Brown, Melina Cruz, Jernee Johnson, Kevin Roberts, and Vernice Wilson.
