Description : Foreman Field Stadium - built by the WPA, CWA, and ERA in Virginia, sponsored by City of Norfolk and the College of William and Mary. This photograph shows the architectural treatment of the main gate of Foreman Field Stadium, from plans drawn by G.A. Neff, Architect. The bearing wall shown herewith was constructed of hard, common brick 24" thick at base, tapering off to 13" at top and laid in full Flemished bond.
