[ New Search ] Norris School Location : Norris, TN Agency : TVA Owner : FDRL Medium : B&W Photo Control Number : Photographs (General): TVA: Dams: Norris Enlarged Image Description : Norris School provides for the elementary, secondary and adult education of residents of the Town of Norris, a TVA village built to house workmen at Norris Dam, in northeast Tennessee. This building, of brick construction, contains ten classrooms, two laboratories, a music room, nursery school, lunch room, library and a large combination auditorium-gymnasium-theater. Electric Heat is used throghout and an electric eye controls the light in the classrooms. Approximately 400 students from the town and surrounding rural districts attent school here.
