Museum Model: Boeing Bi-Motored Plane
Location : Denver, CO
Description : The Boeing Bi-Motored Plane "City of Denver", used on the Wyoming Air lines between Denver and Cheyenne, WPA workers built the entire plane of Balsa wood. The rivets consist of ribbon pins, driven by hand, and number nearly 6,000. Baggagemen are loading suit cases and traveling bags in the nose of the plane, and travelers entering. The hangar is a replica of the facade of the first hangar built at the Denver Municipal Airport. Transportation Series, No. 9 Colorado State Historical Museum, Denver Colorado. Listed Under:
