[ New Search ] Art Student and Instructor at Easel Location : Buffalo, NY Date : May, 1940 Agency : FAP, WPA Owner : NARA (SPB) Medium : B&W Photo Control Number : RG 69-3 Enlarged Image Description : Art Institute of Buffalo--This project was started by the WPA five years ago and has become so successful that the school is expected to include the WPA instructors on the school payrolls. By charging a small tuition fee the school hopes to become self supporting. This is another example where WPA can take credit for assisting in the starting of a new and successful enterprise.
