[ New Search ] Typing Brush-Up Classes Location : Chicago, IL Agency : WPA Owner : NARA (SPB) Medium : B&W Photo Control Number : 16485 Enlarged Image Description : Brush-up and pre-employment training classes are held daily on the Girls' Activities Project in Chicago. Girls who have had previous training in typing and stenography are given the opportunity to brush up on their skill. The general girls work and training project in Chicago employs over 300 girls. The Brush-up Training Unit assists the community agencies by doing typing and other work which enables the agencies to extend their program to reach more youth.
