Malaria Control Project
Location : Savannah, GA
Description : WPA workers on a malaria control project at Savannah, Ga., dig a large drainage ditch to carry off the water from a large swamp, the mosquitos and malaria conditions for miles around have been very bad, but now that the WPA is improving the situation, this section has began to develop as a residential area and the 2500 acre plantation is being turned into a home development. Thus WPA is improving health conditions and also improving real estate surrounding this project. Listed Under:
