[ New Search ] Press Box Location : Norfolk, VA Agency : CWA, ERA, WPA Owner : NARA (SPB) Medium : B&W Photo Control Number : 69-N-108 Enlarged Image Description : Press box - Foreman Field Stadium, Norfolk Virginia - built by WPA, CWA, and ERA labor. This press box surmounts one of two radial-designed reinforced concrete seating stands at Foreman Field Stadium. The stadium has a total seating capacity of 18,000. The stands were designed with a concrete frame and deck with brick curtain walls on the exterior. Designed by C.A. Neff, architect, Norfolk, Va. C.J. Lindeman, Norfolk was the engineer.
