Description : Washington, D.C. Frederick Douglass Memorial Home - Many books that are now out of print are being classified and racked in the private study of Frederick Douglass, abolitionist, by Historical Records Survey Project workers of the WPA. Maurice Champ employed on this project by the WPA is pictured with a first edition of "Elliott's Journal, 1803". The entire value of the Douglass library which is the scene of this activity for four WPA workers is estimated between $15,000 and $20,000.
