File Case at Douglass Home

Description : Washington, D.C. - A special file case contains the historic letters, speeches, manuscripts and other documents of Frederick Douglass, world-famed abolitionist. Miss Annie Wheeler, a WPA worker on the Historical Records Survey Project at the Douglass Memorial Home is pictured at this file case located in the private study of the abolitionist.
