Student Orderly, Freeman Hospital
Location : Washington, DC
Description : Freedman's Hospital has found 43 young people valuable as nurses' aids, student orderlies and recreation leaders and teachers for convalescent children. These young people have classroom instruction as well as practical assignments. Some of them have become efficient bed makers and bandage makers. They have learned to feed patients and help to make them comfortable while they are convalescing. A few workers have learned to put instruments away with efficiency. Listed Under:
