Description : Washington, D.C. - Frederick Douglass Memorial Home - Mrs. Julia B. Davis, Supervisor of the Historical Records Survey Project, who for ten years has guarded the hitherto unrecorded treasures at the Frederick Douglass Memorial Home, Washington, D.C. Now under the project of the Works Progress Administration, four workers are putting in systematic order the many relics of furnishing, objects of art, silverware, china, books, manuscripts, letters, pamphlet and other historical material at the Home.
