Auditorium and Fire Hall, Deerwood, MN

Description : Deerwood's new auditorium and fire hall was built by WPA at a cost of $70,000. Native field stone was used for the exterior. The building is a 2-story structure with a partial basement and measures 101x66. The fire hall wing has one story measuring 45x25. The building has concrete foundation walls, steel roof trusses, and wood roof. The furnace and tool rooms are located in the basement. The first floor has an auditorium and stage, library, council rooms, and fire station. The second floor has a balcony and projection room. Listed Under:
