Conservation in Context
The Evander Childs High School Murals Project

As a young man and an artist my skills are mostly in painting. I want to develop my skills in such that my ability to paint more realistic.

When I heard about this program, it got my interest so I signed up for it. After I started this program I was taught many different ways to use light and dark colors and shading. This program has made my eye and hand coordination more accurate. It therefore enhanced my comprehension of contour drawing.

This mural painting program has also showed how to have a mutual relations with my other pairs. This also allows you to share talent with the others while you learn and help them. The first day we met we talk and get to know each other. We began to do sketches after we received a sketch book.

When it was time to do the base colors on the mural we had enough practice. From then until now I've learnt how to design a mural and to paint a mural.
