Dale Hart
This whole after-school activity has become a learning experience for me. Being able to draw, plays a vital role in my life. I've never gotten the chance to paint so big before. Now that I have, I'm enlightened to paint more. Our art teachers try their best to make sure that we the art students are comfortable and ready to help out with the paintings. The teacher who is responsible for the painting activities, Manny provides nourishing delights on a weekly basis. He also appears to be rough and high tempered at sometimes when needed. For there are times when we may slack off and don't perform our commands. I think, for Manny to have this type of attitude is worth the acceptance. For the cause that we may take advantage of our freedom over them (the two teachers) because of it (this after-school activity) not being school, we may not take responsibility seriously. We don't have to stay, only if we want to. For those who make it upon themselves to come, try to behave and perform their duties. There is not much to talk about Manny, for he comes when he's supposed to and does his job well. Which is, to help us to paint this big piece of events. Well, I got some skills along the way of learning like, being able to use black and white on a piece. That I did two areas on our first. I also did a black and white piece, which wasn't up to my standard. I've mastered the use of black and also white on my painting. Our other teacher Mr. Vargo is our attendance recorder and part-time advisor. He comes around each individual at times, giving comments and suggestions to how the piece should be done. He was the one who suggested to add colors to my black and white robot piece, which I had agreed but didn't finish to accomplish. I don't really have to or need the credits from this activity; I already have a lot of credits. I mean, it's art and I'm getting the feeling of liking being a part of it. I've really enjoyed this mural activity and will want to do it again. My name is Dale Hart, and to those who are reading this, taking part in a mural activity is O.K.
