This photo shows the construction of the 22" dolls. Note the hinge in back which lets the doll sit, the flat feet that make it easy to stand the doll up, and the flexible arms. Also notice the label on the back identifying this as a Milwaukee WPA doll. Many of the dolls were stamped in this way.
