Inaugurated in 1992 with a lecture by Cokie Roberts on "Women in Politics," the Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt Distinguished Lecture Series is held each year at Roosevelt University in Chicago and co-sponsored by the University and the Roosevelt Institute.
